SHOW ME THE MONEY

An attendant at a gas station in Tomas Morato and a meat vendor at Visayas Avenue in Quezon City each show a P1000 bill on July 12, 2022. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has clarified that folded polymer banknotes can still be circulated and used for payment amid posts on social media about some business establishments refusing to accept crimped currency.
