Even as Uttarakhand battles against one of India's worst disasters, a political fight has erupted over the VVIPs visits to the hill state. Days after Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has also visited the flood-affected areas, prompting both the BJP and Congress to trade charges. But the real question remains whether the VVIPs should have stayed away instead of the needless photo-ops.
