Should smacking children be banned?

Parents and carers in Kent could be banned from smacking their children when they misbehave.

That's if campaigners get their way after Scotland became the first country in the UK to make it a criminal offence.

The Association of Educational Psychologists said that smacking is harmful to children's mental health.
