Greg and Missey Smith are meeting with state legislatures across the country calling for legislation to help law enforcement officials locate missing persons. The Smith's daughter, Kelsey, was an 18-year old from Kansas who was abducted and murdered in 2007. Greg and Missey Smith gave emotional testimony to the Minnesota Senate telecommunications committee Thursday, February 18th, in support of SF 2470, a bill requiring cell phone companies to release cell phone records to law enforcement officals in case of missing persons.
