İt is simply about shooting from a very close distance to catch the arrow in the middle of its flight to see and evaluate the flaws of the technique and degree of arrow oscillation. İt helps master the release and the bowhand control, very much like the makiwara training in Japanese Kyudo. Please note the straight flight and reduced oscillation of the arrow.
