Shine Remix - John Legend & Audio Imagery

http://audioimagery.net Indabamusic (http://www.indabamusic.com) is hosting a contest to remix the song "Shine" off of the album "Wake Up". The original was performed by The Roots and John Legend. The posted the guitar, bass, guitar, drums, vocals & horns all on separate tracks. But me being me I just took the vocals and made all the music with my boi ANTI. I didn't add any vocals myself - Just straight production. The track took about 3 evenings to do. It's weird how at this point that seems too long. I have been making songs in hours so a few days seems excessive. Perception is a crazy thing.... The 1 grand prize winner will receive $1,000, a Skype session with John Legend and have the track streamed from John Legend's Official website. Pretty cool. There will be two more people chosen just to be streamed off his website. Honestly, I can't imagine not taking one of the top three spots - but I have said that before. So hopes are high but expectations are modest. It may change a bit before I actually submit it but enjoy :) Thanks to Coop for the heads up about the contest.
