Sherri Anderson - Immortality
4 Views • Jun 15, 2014
Description
as we lie here so afraid.
what will happen to us,
what harm shall come to this day?
We wonder if death can be sleep,
when life is but a dream,
how could this have passed us by?
And yet we think the greatest pain's to die.
We say we fear death
as if it brings eternal pain,
though we wonder about it so much,
and so much we can not say.
Can you tell me now what you mean when you say you are afraid?
I thought you were strong?
You said you'd learn to deal with the pain.
I say yes, we are more then our present selves,
and that there is a further state to come,
that we are not such stuff
as dreams are made of.
We wonder if death can be sleep,
when life is but a dream,
how could this have passed us by,
and yet we think the greatest pain's to die....
