Darkness consumes me
humanism fades to black
heart growing cold
never to go back

Pain
we all face it
some despise it
other embrace it

Pain,
it consumes my soul
never to be at rest
never to grow old

where is my savior
where is he now
was he ever here
has he let me down

am I really alone
am I to suffer in black
am I to deteriortate
never to go back?

who can save me
who will help a wounded soul
who will lend a hand
to the young and old

who will lend their hand
I will never know
but I know
to hell I must go
