Shawna Haley - Pain

I close my eyes and try to think of a time when I was happy.
But nothing seems to work.
As my tears run down my face, I try not to think of the pain.
I can’t help it but all the bad memories flow back into my mind as soon as I close my eyes.
Maybe one more time will make all my problems go away.
Another mark, another scar.
As I lay there and cry,
I slowly fall asleep and wonder why does this always happen to me?
