Shaolin monk breaks bricks on tofu

A Shaolin monk in eastern China showed off his strength and the strength of tofu, by breaking bricks placed on and between blocks of the soft food.

The impressive clip, shot in Yantai City in Shandong Province on June 20, shows the kung fu monk named Shi Yongchang alternately piling two blocks of tofu and two bricks.

Then he can be seen chopping the two bricks into half with his bare hand, while leaving the tofu intact.

Shi used to learn martial arts in Shaolin Temple, reports said.
