How do I feel today?
I feel black
I feel numb
I feel broken
I feel dead
I cry at everything and nothing
And I ache for you
I blow into my eyes
To keep the tears away
but it never works
I feel hollow
I feel useless
I feel dried up
I feel everything and nothing
My heart hurts
And my head aches
And my feet are made of clay
I don’t want to go out
I don’t want to cry
I don’t want to see
All I want is to see your face
I don’t want to be awake
I don’t want to dream
I don’t want to think
All I want is to think of you
I don’t want to laugh
I don’t want to sing
I don’t want to wish
All I wish is that you were here
or I wish I could forget you
either way, I wish the pain
would stop.
