Poems happen to me
The way dreams come
Sans a scheme sans a theme

Rhyme and meter do not my ideas bind
Leaving undisturbed the thoughts behind

Every structure I find a cage
Ideas mine resist bondage

Clouds are no clouds if cello-taped to the sky
Caged birds are no birds when unable to fly

Let's open our minds' windows
Allow any idea as it flows
That's how our awareness expands
