Shakil Hussain is a London based singer songwriter who has been singing and writing from a young age. Shakil delivers songs of depth and insight with a powerful voice that maintains a fierce presence amid dynamic rock grooves and infectious soulful melodies. Ambitious by nature and powerfully motivated by his gratifying early experiences, Shakil has continued to write and record, working up a set of impressive demos which has led to him performing at a number of showcases. Though his style has changed over the years, maturing with age and developing a more edgy sound, his influences remain the same. This eclectic mixture comes across in his sound and delivers a Soul/Blues/Rock feel.

With catchy hooks and unique lyrics, Shakil displays talent, passion, and an ever-present sense of life that shapes many of his songs. Melodically, his well-crafted music combines sympathetic acoustic moments with a dirty rock sound, often in the same song, to soulful jams with the life-filled world-weary sound of the blues.
