Shaina Lloyd - A Sad Poem

With her pretty blue dress
and her big pretty bow
a little girl waited for her mom
who didn't show
instead her daddy came home
with a bottle of beer
as the little girl wonders
and shakes with fear
The little girl knows what her dad does
when he drinks at night
aches and pain
and bruises left and right
The little girl turned on the t.v.
but there was something wrong
her mother had been found in the snow and killed
murdered all along
Her mother looked like
something her father would do
bruises all over
and a black eye too
The little girl started to cry
for she knew what he had done
and knew that this night
was'nt gonna be very fun
With a pretty blue dress
and a big pretty bow
a little girl has been buried with her mom
both murdered in the snow
