Shadow Rai - Why?

My heart’s swollen, overflowin’
with the warmth you have for me
“Why is it you became my Mother? ”
will always rest a mystery
Although I wouldn’t have another path
I wish to travel long
A trail devoted duly noted
comfortable to walk upon
Birds chirping squatted perching
as sunbeams break through tree lines
And though dark clouds hang in the distance
this dirt path will dry just fine
