Shadow Death - Father

I try to stand strong, but I feel my tears roll down my face.
Father all I’m trying to do is find my place.
But all you do is bring me down.
Never a smile I see you wear, only a frown.
I try to remember why I even stay here.
But there is something about this home that draws me near.
I see the anger in your eyes
When your around other people you wear a disguise.
Pretending to love me, and pretending to be proud.
When I see this act you put on I want to shout out loud
That I never please you with anything I do.
What you say to them is not true.
I’m tired of trying to please you, tired of you making me feel like shit.
I’m done with you and out so called relationship, until you can learn to love me just a little bit..
