Bioclean STP is a consortium of beneficial soil microbes which are natural and safe. They have the ability to degrade number of pollutants. The biological system is designed in such a way that it can be used for very tough to biodegrade wastewater. Each gram of Bioclean STP may contain up to 96 different strains of bacteria. All the bacteria present in Bioclean STP are highly stable

Bacteria need nutrients (such as carbon, nitrogen, phosphate, and trace metals) to survive. They break down organic (carboncontaining) compounds found in nature or man made to get energy for growth. For example, some bacteria use petroleum hydrocarbons as a food and energy source changing them into harmless substances of carbon dioxide, water and fatty acids.

Bacteria present in Bioclean STP are non-pathogenic (are not a cause of disease) to humans, animals and plants, and considered GRAS ( Generally Recognised As Safe)
