Strong storms triggered tornado warnings in Houston on Wednesday, March 29. The National Weather Service said</a> it had not received any reports or confirmations of an actual tornado.
Gusty winds and heavy rains were reported</a> in the area. The storms caused more than a dozen flights to be diverted from Bush Intercontinental Airport. Thousands were without power.
