Setting up decimal addition and subtraction problems. 5th grade math.

Please note:
- We encourage students to put he numbers with the least value closest to the horizontal bar, and then write numbers above that one in order of greater value.
- This is really only necessary in subtracting problems (in which there are only two numbers above the subtraction bar). But we still encourage this for all problems (subtraction and addition) so that they get in the habit of doing this rather than accidentally forget to do this when needed for subtraction.
