Senedd reform moves a step closer
Description
The Senedd has passed a controversial new voting system for parliamentary elections. From 2026, votes will be cast for parties rather than politicians. Labour and Plaid Cymru backed the motion, but opposition from Conservatives and Liberal Democrat’s say parties have too much control over who gets elected.
