0 Views • Jan 19, 2018
Description
On Thursday, the U.S. Senate on Thursday passed a bill to renew the National Security Agency’s warrantless internet surveillance program for six years with minimal changes. The Senate has overcome several objections from civil liberties advocates saying that it undermines the privacy of Americans. The bill reauthorizes the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, a program that allows the NSA and other intelligence agencies to grab data belonging to Americans.
