Description

Sega announced that it will launch its first blockchain game in collaboration with Double Jump Tokyo, a Japanese Development Company. The game will be based on Sega’s Sangokushi Taisen franchise, which is a series of strategy games where players use virtual cards on a virtual field. Elements of the game, such as the tokenization of some of the assets of the game and the trading aspect of the cards, could be implemented on the blockchain. However, Sega has not indicated precisely how the blockchain will be used to develop the games.
