Security tightened as Cairo braces for more protests

Egyptian security forces tighten security in Cairo ahead of pro-Mursi demonstrations.

Soldiers can be seen behind make shift brick walls -- near the ministry of defense as parts of the city center have been cordoned off to the public.

The efforts come as Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood called for mass protests Friday in its campaign to reverse the army's overthrow of President Mohamed Mursi.

Later in the day tens of thousands fill the streets.

More than two weeks after Egypt's military ousted Mursi from office, there is still no sign of a possible deal to defuse the crisis..
