Security official survives bomb attack in Libya
Description
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) GUARD, JUMAA SALEH, SAYING:
"We were accompanying the military commander Abdullah al-Suayti and heading towards the military court with him when a car crossed onto our side of incoming traffic and attacked Mr. Abdullah and his guards. The driver left the car before the blast and a guard was martyred."
The attack is the latest in a spate of bomb attacks and assassinations in the city.
In the past few days, more than a dozen people have died in Libya's capital city Tripoli as fighting erupted between militias and protesters.
The militias blamed for the worst unrest in Tripoli since the fall of Muammar Gaddafi -- began pulling out of the capital Monday as Libyan army units moved in.
