Security camera captures odd flying creature with legs but no wings

A security camera caught the strange sight of what appears to be a large centipede-like creature flying in the backyard of a New Jersey home last week.

Explains the filmer: "This creature was caught on my outdoor Nest camera in my backyard. It is a rod-like creature that flew through the air but doesn't appear to have any semblance of wings. It looks like a large flying centipede that has seven or eight legs on either side.

"The creature flies across the video screen and then makes a sharp turn and flies away from the camera. It is a clear video and shows whatever this flying creature is."

The video was captured on February 20.
