Second Covid wave peak expected by May 7: Experts

India on Sunday reported its highest single-day toll of 3,689 Covid deaths. The country also saw a slight dip in the daily numbers with 3,92,488 new cases reported in the last 24 hours The new cases take India's Covid tally to 1,95,57,457.

The top five states which have registered maximum cases are Maharashtra with 63,282 cases, followed by Karnataka with 40,990 cases, Kerala with 35,636 cases, Uttar Pradesh with 30,180 cases and Delhi with 25,219 cases.
