The SEC is reviewing digital engagement for investors. The Commission is looking into innovative online engagement practices used by digital brokerages and whether these practices should be subject to SEC regulation. As part of the review, the SEC might change its rules or add new ones—focusing primarily on the “gamification” of investing.
