SEC Holds Back Bitcoin ETF
Description
Bitcoin lost its recent gains after the SEC announced a delay in approving several spot Bitcoin ETF applications, causing the price to fall by nearly 5%. Despite expectations of delays, there is a 75% chance that the SEC will approve a spot Bitcoin ETF this year. Grayscale's court victory against the SEC has increased the probability of approval for their application, making it harder for the SEC to deny future requests.
