Sebastian Soberania - barbar....

when you
are sad and lonely
you cannot actually
attend to
people like you
until the
news comes out
that they have
succumbed to the death
of their
own unique dispositions
and you
who is sitting on the chair
facing
another dizzying sunset
the one that makes your
nausea
intolerable
finally accepts that things
like this happen
and they are too normal
about people
who die and about people
choose to live some more
believing that perhaps
life can be more
meaningful farther....

you shake your head
hold your tongue
and then
gaze to another boring
sunset
spreading the color of
faded blood
in your
hair

fact is
there is no meaning
and no matter
what
even if you create one
at the end
there is nothing

am i absurd? am i
the killjoy of
this world?

i don't really think
so i am only
telling what i think i know
is the
truth

and it is based on
59 years of
solidified existence
like a Spanish
garrison whose edifice
caused the
death of many
ignorant slaves.
