Description
Bisher war die Erdgastechnologie bei den Käufern nicht sonderlich beliebt. Ein Grund dafür sind die Tanks, die mit 200 Bar unter Druck stehen. Allerdings haben aktuelle Umweltproblematiken aber auch der Preisvorteil zu einem Umdenken geführt. Die Zeit scheint reif, um diese Kraftstoffart zu pushen: SEAT rüstet die Modelle MII, Ibiza, Leon und Leon ST mit so genannten TGI-Motoren aus. Das Kürzel steht für „Turbo Gas Injektion“.
