In the beginning of the 1970s, Sixto Rodriguez recorded two albums on a Motown label. They flopped so badly that people said he committed suicide right on stage. Nobody heard anything more about Rodriguez. Except in South Africa, where without him knowing it, his CD became a symbol of the struggle against Apartheid. Several years later, two fans from Cape Town take off in search of “Sugar Man’. What they discover is a story full of surprises, emotions, and inspiration.
