Sean Olivia - School

I walk through the wrought iron gates,
Thrusting today upon the shoulders of fate.
Along the snaking pebbled pathways,
The scrunch if gravel to the hallways.

Shrieks of laughter, squeals of delight,
While I was dwelling in my sorrowful plight.
Along the dreaded whitewashed walls,
Graffiti plastered the listening walls.

The bell screamed out its dutiful wail,
Awakening the memory of a test I failed.
A storey high stack of rubbish i unwillingly held,
I yearned to throw them down the well!

Towards the door I reluctantly progressed,
While the breeze outside this cage caressed.
A flood of students hurried in,
As an hour of unspeakable torture begins.
