Seán Óg O' Hogáin is a talented singer/ songwriter from county Wicklow in Ireland. He is an accomplished percussionist and has been playing for over ten years. He has been singing from an early age and has inherited some of his mothers voice. Seán' dad is an All Ireland banjo champion, so he has passed on those necessary attributes that Seán will need in the future to develop his banjo skills and, he hopes to follow in his fathers footsteps one day and win an All Ireland medal. Seán comes from a long line of very talented musicians, singers and dancers, so as an artiste he has very large shoes to fill. He currently resides in Galway, where he is finalizing the last few songs for his debut album. Seán Óg is mainly focusing on developing his songwriting and his guitar playing at the moment, but he will always find time to lash out a few awesome beats on his wide range of percussion instruments. He is playing and jamming with a few different musicians and singers at the moment. The one and only, Aisling Daly will be working very closely with Seán Óg over the next few months, and they're plan will be to record a full album of folky originals by the end of the year or at the latest January of next year.
