Scuffles at polling stations in Bangkok

Confrontation breaks out a at least one polling station in Bangkok Sunday during controversial parliamentary elections.

Anti-government protesters blocked roads leading to the Din Daeng district voting center, prompting officials to close it down.

Despite months of sometimes violent anti-government demonstrations, voting is going ahead at various locations throughout the country.

Election Commission officials say results will not be made available on Sunday as they expect a deluge of complaints and challenges to the results.
