You know that feeling when you're at a gig and everyone is dancing and the bass is rattling your chest so much that you don't know if you're heart is still pumping in the right rhythm?

...That's kind of what we're going for here.

Formed by Laura Stewart (woodwind) and Oscar Roberts (laptop) in 2011, Scribble Sound are an electronic music duo from Brisbane, Australia, who blend hard dubstep bass with organic timbres of acoustic instruments like flute, clarinet and voice. Our music is based on stories and themes and we collaborate with contemporary dancer Anja Ali-Haapala to make these stories come alive.

Essentially, Scribble Sound is a musical act, but rather than just having an electronic producer on stage, we engage our audience through movement, costumes, music and most of all, bass. They have also recruited a following of fans who thoroughly enjoy their hand-made t-shirts.
