But instead, this scaffolder was left with a sore head.
The footage shows how far guys will go to show off – but also how funny is when it all goes wrong.

He jumps on the end of a plank of wood, firing his safety hat into the air.
But there was nothing safe about the outcome, with the hapless worker filmed clutching his head in pain as his colleagues laughed.

He had tried to catch it with his head.
