cold boat, we sail it
fresh white sails for it
let me say that
it's so good to see you're thinking of me
this poor fool
thinks of you, too

creases on fingertips
that trace over you, mine on yours
we were in the water
too long
drift out of our minds
into opposite hearts,
where home is

ripples when i toss
myself to you, i dive
i jump i let go all over
i release every grip i forget and remember
everything
i'm trapping and dropping
everything again
it might interest you to know
that the sea
is speaking to us,
whispers
in the little waves
her colors tell me you're a fine catch
let me obey her command, to love you
as much as
i possibly can
