Wont someone try to tip the scales for me
It's now.....
My only vision..... home
It's not a matter of what I want
Or how things seem to be
If I'd have seen this coming
I could've run for cover.... instead I'm....
Backed into the shadows - where no one makes out your face
Stepped up once in my life - to only, only - be dismissed
From service
So long....
I'm hoping everything will shine for you
Much too strong.....
To let words hold you.... down
I can sit and scream and cry
And hate the world I see
But that does nothing
So I'm hidden right behind it all and....
