Scientists suggest alternative material to rival willow

Forget the thwack of leather on willow, bamboo could soon make the best cricket bats. Cambrige University's Doctor Darshil Shah has co-authorised a report on the bamboo cricket bat and he says the light material creates a larger sweet spot.
