They say the six-foot rule is based on science from more than a hundred years ago, and is based on the behavior of different viruses.
For instance, it's been shown that the COVID-19 virus isn't always transmitted via droplets from breathing, speaking, and coughing.
Rather, it can be aersolized and travel through circulated air, as in air-conditioned restaurants, offices, and airplanes.
