What did NOAA scientists find 2 miles deep in the dark waters of the Gulf of Alaska? An alien egg, a mutant sponge, or an entirely new species? 🌊👽

Deep-sea explorers operating an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) stumbled upon a bizarre, glowing "golden orb" attached to a rocky reef at the bottom of the ocean. The mystery deepened when they noticed a strange hole in it—as if something had hatched and broken out, or something had forced its way in.

When the submarine’s robotic arm finally touched its fleshy, skin-like surface, things got even weirder. Even after carefully vacuuming it up and bringing it to a laboratory, marine biologists are completely baffled by its biological makeup.

Join us as we dive into one of the ocean's newest and most thrilling mysteries! With over 80% of our ocean still unmapped and unexplored, who knows what else is hiding in the deep?
