MIKEY, 29, from Chicago, describes his look as a 'Scene Kid' and has been dressing this way since he was only 12 years old. Mikey is constantly judged and misgendered because of his unique look but this doesn't stop him from living his best life. Mikey told Transformed: "If I go to gay bars everyone thinks I'm a trans girl, and whenever I go to straight bars, all the straight guys think I am a girl." Despite Mikey loving his look, this has stopped him finding love as he believes that his style attracts the wrong type of man. Today, with the help of makeup artist Daniela, Mikey is taking a leap of faith and transforming from his 'Scene Kid' look, into a more 'Preppy Style'. In addition to this, Mikey is going on his first ever blind date in his new 'Preppy' aesthetic. Mikey said: "I've never been on a blind date before. I'm super excited and at the end of the date I plan on showing him my original look... Hopefully it doesn't scare him off!" Will Mikey feel confident in his new style? Will his blind date be shocked by Mikey's revelation of the original 'Scene Kid' look?
