Yesterday was a good day
For no good reason
I was happy
I spoke to you
You understood
Asked me what I couldn’t ask you
I studred shocked
I wanted to tell you yes
And it always would be
But I didn’t I said I don’t know

Thoughs sweet words leave your lips

I swear I won’t lie

O today what a good day
I can’t wait
You’ll hold me close
Such good days
I want to pause time
Take it all in
But if I did
You’d be gone
O what a thing time is
It’s gone when you want it
And there when you don’t
O what good days
