Who are you?
We're a London based electro-rock band fronted by female singer Scarlletta. She's a quirky mix of Debbie Harry, Gwen Stefani and Madonna.
What are you up to at the moment?
So much! Writing, recording and gigging. We're working super hard at the moment to promote the release of the Scarlletta debut EP Sinful. We have a few cool gigs lined up too to promote the release and a launch party being organised for the press. Also filming for the second series of a TV programme which (we'd love to) but that we can't name just now. We're buzzing!
Which gig are you most looking forward to?
All of them! But headlining Troubadour on the 8th of October should be pretty AWESOME. We've played there before last Feb, but now we've moved on so much, it will be great to go back as a full band and smash it!
What's your most exciting achievement so far?
Loved performing at The Hackney Empire for the Must Be The Music Semi Finals. We had no idea what to expect. The first audition for the show was packed with thousands of bands and acts. We only found out on the day that Dizzee and Jamie Cullam were judging. We had a sound check, then we were interviewed by Fearne Cotton, then next thing we were on stage! Surreal!
Who writes your songs?
Scarlletta writes the lyrics and melody - the band writes the music.
What's your favourite Scarlletta track?
Tough question! Sinful has a wide commercial appeal and whenever we perform the track the audience loves it. However Be My Bitch is an exciting track for us as a band - it marks a new Scarlletta -- a clean slate.
