Scarlett Treat - Dancing Alone Again

When I was small,
The candlelight
Reflected
In my eyes.

But now, I am older,
And no light at all
Is there, because
I have no dreams left.

I now await,
With hopeful heart,
Each glad new chance,
But upon hearing
The same sad song,
I only repeat the dance.
