Look into my eyes
Do you see my pain
See all I have seen
To see you I have eyes of a tragedy
For that is all I am
Broke at such a young age
Sometimes you can not be repair
When you pass me by
And are arms happen to brush
Do you feel my pain
Feel all that I have felt
Do you feel that of a broken soul
For that is what I am
Broken
Beyond repair
Lost and confused
So do not try to say you understand me
For you have not walked in my shoes
The shoes of a broken soul
You have not felt the pain
You have not seen the darkness
So how is It you could understand me
When I have felt it all
And seen it all
And still do not understand
The broken souls
Until you borrow the shoes
Of a broken soul
Walk only a mile
And see what you can
Then and only then
Can you say
You are starting to understand
For remember
A broken soul cannot just trade shoes
We are stuck in ours
We walk the world in such pain
But still we walk on
For most are souls have run all to thin
For some like me
We no long have a soul within our shoes
We are now baring our very flesh to the world
For that is all we have left
So please
Borrow my shoes
And start to understand
Why there is so much pain
Within my very stare
