Scarlet ..... - I Will Walk on the Surface

I am so lost
drowning in things of the past
things that will affect my future
just as I was reaching the surface
they dumped more in
into this pool of problems
into this pool of pain
into my pool of life
now I can barely breathe
I’m slowly giving up
but then I remember
then I see my light
and he sees me
I will fight this
and I will win
I will fight the pressure
I will fight all of these problems
I will break threw the surface
then only then shall I be able to walk with him
walk on this water
walk with him at my side
for he will be there to keep me from slipping
we will keep each other above the surface
he will be my incentive to fight it
fight it all
all of the pressure
all of the problems
he will be my incentive for it all
he will be my incentive to survive
to win this battle
to go on
