Scarlet ..... - I Need a Reason

Give me one reason
for I can’t seem to give myself one
I need just one good reason to keep going
to make it through this pain
I feel so alone
all those around me don’t even know
and I don’t even know how to tell them
please we all die in the end
so why can’t this be my end
I have no love
I have no friends
I have no one that needs me
I have nothing
so why do I stay
there is nothing holding me here
besides that small hope from within
hope for a real friend
hope for a sense of belonging
just a hope for someone who would accept me for me
I have lived the last years of my life hiding
or just trying to blend in
fir every time someone saw me I was rejected
or they wanted me to change
is that small hope reason enough
I sure don't think so
it has got me through the last four years
but I think it is time for a new reason
too bad I can't think of one
