Scarlet ..... - Good & Bad

so many ways this could go wrong
so very wrong
if I give in
give in to this craving
this need
for it is not a case of if I will break
it is a case f when and where shall I break
for will I be able to hide it
to continue being unnoticed
or will I for once in my life will I be seen
the one time I don’t want to be seen
there are so many ways for this to go wrong
not only being seen
but I could go too deep
which might end it all
or I could become addicted
addicted to something I know I will not be able to hide
at least not for long
not forever
oh so many ways for this to go wrong
and yet so many ways for this to go right
it could stop some of the things eating me alive
for it could release a lot of pain
a lot of anger
for I have plenty inside
that needs to get out
maybe this is me
maybe this is how I will finally find myself
find something I belong to
for so many ways this could go
both good and bad
for this could save my life
but it could also end it
I no longer know which one would be better
