Scarlet ..... - Crumbling Away

they slide off my face
one after another
taking a pieces of me with them
they eat away at me
slowly breaking me into pieces
I slowly crumble
piece by piece
chunk by chunk
until there is nothing left
they are almost there
I’m missing more pieces than I have
I see the crumbled bits of me
flowing away
flowing in a river of my tears
what is left of my is struggling
struggles to stay above
above the ocean of tear
above the ocean of pain
but the more I struggle
the quicker I crumble
it is a lose lose situation
so I stay still
drowning in an ocean of my tears
of crumbled pieces of what I used to be
The tears keep flowing
The pieces keep crumbling
Until there is nothing left
